LAG tasks are the followings:

• Identify local development strategies: after a territorial analysis, decide how to efficiently enhance natural and cultural resources, improving the quality of life of residents and tourists.
• Plan the Local Development Programme: draw up the document “what we are going to do” with the purpose to submit it to the Veneto Region Agency to get the approval. The document contains projects (Measures) ready to be carried out in the following step. Several Measures are made of specific parts called Actions.
• Activate local development strategies: the Local Development Programme Measures are realized through Public Tender Announcement, LAG Direction and Direct Management by LAG.
• Area coordination: communicate news about activities and opportunities provided by the LAG to the local stakeholders through website, news media, organizing meeting, participating in exhibitions and conventions.

The Veneto Region approved the Venetian LAG’s regional ranking and the financing of the respective Local Development Programs. The LAG PATAVINO was officially recognized as agent enabled to realize the AXIS IV of Rural Development Program, and the Local Development Program submitted was financed with 6.379.019,24 € (DGR n°545 10/03/09).
